Book Review

    I like Haji Ali the most of the characters in this book. He was a village leader who was always thinking about the people in the village. I have his favorite word. It's "Long after all those rams are dead and eaten this school will still stand. Haji Mehdi has food today. Now our children have education forever." He considers children's education to be more important than precious rams in the village. He invests in the future rather than immediate profits. It's for children studying in a poor environment. Although, it may be prejudice, people in poor countries are often the best to live and education to be postponed. In addition, people in that country work chidren. However, he probably had foresight in such an environment. Therefore, I think he's very smart.

Holidays

   

    I will introduce "Marine Day." I felt summer vacation in childhood when "Marine Day" came. It is almost summer vacation from the day. I thought that I could take a rest for a long time. Therefore I really liked the day. Initially, it was the name of "Marine Memorial Day." The Meiji  Emperor crossed a sea by a steamship and returned to Yokohama port on July 20 in 1876.  At the time, people felt anxiety about sailing on ships. However, The Meiji Emperor showed the safety to the people by sailing. Thereafter, marine transportation and the use to a sea voyage suddenly increased. It was the trigger which become a maritime nation Japan. In 1941, Communications Minister did July 20 with  "Marine Memorial Day." But It wasn't the national holidays and was celebrated among the people who engaged in the work of the sea as a memorial day. However,  the day changed by their activity on "Marine Day" of the national holiday in 1996. It is a reason with the historic significance that made an origin to The Meiji Emperor. Its purpose is "grateful for the bounty of the sea, celebrating the prosperity of the maritime nation Japan." However "Happy Monday" system in 2003, the day has become the third Monday of July. The system ignored an origin and the meaning of the day. Therefore it is not sometimes July 20 on the day. Although the Abe LDP government decided to fix the day on original July 20 in 2014, it has not changed yet.

    My great-grandfather and grandfather were fishermen. They had died ago I was born, but I was made to hear their story from father. Furthermore, a hobby of father and me is fishing. So  I have those effects, and I want to get fish-related work. I knew the original meaning of "Marine Day" recently. A meaning of my "Marine Day" changed then.

Marriage Traditions

        I will introduce a Tujia group in China. They live in Hunan, Hubei mainly. The marriage of the Tujia group has strange manners and customs. The bride begins to cry for a half a month of the marriage and reaches a wedding ceremony by crying. She begins to cry for at least 3-5 days. However, there is the bride who begins to cry for more than one month in that.  There are the manners and customs to evaluate keen intelligence, intelligence, gentleness, the gentleness as the woman whether the bride can sing a certain "song of bride crying" a lot. When the marriage of the woman was not free once, this "song of bride crying" accused poor one's situation through "a song of bride crying." The marriage became free now. However, these manners and customs remain as a kind of ceremony when the woman of the Tujia group still gets married.

Oppinion

         Ecotourism is important. Tourists were often destroying the area before this was enforced. The travel touches the area of nature and culture without destroying the environment and life culture, and people can learn those. But my country isn't encouraging this.  I heard this for first time. I have never seen it even when I went to some travel agencies. Maybe I didn't notice it at that time. Therefore, I looked into it. I hope this spreads in Japan.

         My favorite TV program is "Darwin came! Living things new legend." You can watch it every Sunday. This program focuses on one kind of animals every week and details the animal's ecology. It also shows a decisive moment. For example, decisive moment is "Orca Attack."  It's that Orca aims to attack the seals at the beachfront despite the fact that they're at risk of stranding there. Although the broadcasting time is only 30 minutes, the staff here take more than a year to make a program. Actually, they spent a lot of time for "Orca Attack." So you can think that this program is valuable 30 minutes. When I watch this program, this program gives me not only impression but also things which I cannot usually experience. Therefore, I recommend "Darwin came! Living things new legend."

Travel

      
       I would like to introduce the Adachi Museum of Art in Japan. This picture is fall season. Autumn colors are beautiful. But I don't think this garden is the best season. It's reason because I think it's beautiful that all four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, summer of green leaves, autumn leaves, and winter snow. The Adachi Museum’s gardens have been ranked as number one. This marks the 13th consecutive year in the number one spot. It was compiled by the Journal of Japanese Gardening, a US magazine that focuses on Japanese gardens.  Despite the museum of art, the garden is number one. Do you think you know where this garden is? You would think the famous temples and gardens of Kyoto. It's regretfully different. The museum is located in Shimane Prefecture. It's in a place that's very far from Kyoto. You would think here people manage the only garden. However, They also manage to the other side of the mountains. It's to harmonize the garden and mountains. For example, when they don't like trees in the mountains, they go to cut it there. They divided into two teams: Mountain team, Garden team. Mountain team goes to the mountain and look for the tree to use the GPS. Although they go to near the tree, it's difficult to distinguish the one tree. So they rely on Garden team. First, Mountain team shakes the tree which they think noticeable. Second, They contact Garden team. Third, Garden team makes sure the moving tree to use telescope. If it's wrong, Garden team is an indication to Mountain team. And they also shake the tree. It's repeated. Here people have done that you don't believe it. They wash all the white stone every year. It's keeping the white of the stone in doing so. You won't believe, but this is a fact. Such a garden is no other.  You should see it, and must be surprised by the beauty of the garden.

Languages

      It is clear that language is important to communicate with people. For example, when we do business, if there are no language, we can't negotiate with people. And I think I had better learn language of the populous country. In other words, I should learn Chinese. China has 1.3 billion people. The current world population is 7.3 billion people. In short, China's population is about one-sixth of the world. It's very large population. Recently, many Chinese tourists have visited Japan. It is because the economy of China is good. Also, China is near Japan. Coming and going of people is thriving from the old days. So China is an important trade partner for Japan. In the future, I probably work in Japan. When the time comes, I want to use Chinese. The reason is because I can negotiate with Chinese. Therefore, I consider that I want language to the business. 

Money

      

        If I won $10 million in the lottery, I would like to continue to eat until the hate tuna. I love a tuna. When I go to a sushi shop, I'm always the first order tuna. And I eat a medium fatty tuna, a fatty tuna, and last a tuna. I almost eat a tuna. When I'm hungey, I always say, "I want to eat a tuna." Morning, noon, evening meals tuna. For example, some people gnaw an apple for lunch. On the other hand, I gnaw a tuna loaf. I'm the best just think of it! First, I buy many tuna: Yellowfin tuna, Bigeye tuna, Pacific bluefin tuna, and so on. I also buy freezer and refrigerator. My freezer and refrigerator would be only to tuna. My freezer would not have clearance to put ice creams. I'd rather have tuna than a ice cream. So Snacking is a tuna rather than a ice cream. In this way, I eat tunas every day. Second, I sometime make chefs come home. I say to them, "You can use your favorite tunas in the freezer and refrigerator." And They make tuna dishes for me. I eat these. It seems to be a dream. So I want such a life once.

Crime

      I think that Calgary is relatively safe.  When I walked the city of Calgary, I noticed that the city is organized in a grid form. A prospect improves by making this grill form. In short, it comes to have high security nature. Also, I notice Canadian say to people, "Thank you." For example, when they get off the bus, they say to bus driver, "Thank you." And when they open the door, they keep opening a door as much as possible for the next person. Next people say, "Thank you." This is always evidence that the thinking of others. So, I think Canadian is so kind.            

      The British magazine Economist announced world secure cities rankings in 2015. According to it, It is first place Tokyo, second place Singapore, third place Osaka. The standard is "cyber security","medical care, healthy environmental safety","safety of the infrastructure" and "personal safety".Tokyo and Osaka is Japan. Right is Tokyo. Left is Osaka. I'm from Osaka. But I moved to go to the university in Tokyo two years ago. When I came to Tokyo, I felt that Tokyo were indifferent and impassive. In contrast, Osaka people is so kind. This is the same as the Canadian. Osaka people say to people, "Thank you." Tokyo people don't say it when they ride on the bus. Also,they don't keep opening a door. They're not so kind. Fanally, if I acquire a ranking, it's first place Osaka, second place Calgary, third place Tokyo.

Where?Where?Where?

           I was invited by friends to soccer watching last Sunday, and went to soccer watching with friends. Because I like soccer. We knew soccer games information by DINOS UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY. A date and the time of the games such as soccer, rugby, the hockey are listed in this. This is put in the shops of the university and free. According to this information, the soccer game is started at 1:30p.m. and the place is the West Varsity Pitch. So, we met at a university one hour ago. But, we had a problem. It's that nobody knew the West Varsity Pitch. So, we asked people of the university to the place. And we went to the place which they taught. We bought a ticket and entered into the stadium. However, the stadium was performed a game of the American football. We couldn't understand the situation. And we noticed that we mistook a place. Since it was unavoidable, we bore with American football. Where is it, West Varsity Pitch!
